Greetings! So I’m literally obsessed with spaghetti & all things Italian. L O V E! But we all know that carbohydrates turn into sugar which leads to excess fat; So, I had to think of a way to satisfy my heavy Italian pasta cravings without the heavy carbs! Here it is:


Yields 4 Servings

You will need:

  • 1 Spaghetti Squash
  • 10 oz. Organic Italian Herb Pasta Sauce
  • 8 oz. fresh spinach, chopped
  • 8 oz. lean ground turkey
  • 4 oz. white onion, chopped
  • 4 oz. tomato, chopped
  • 2 oz. pepper jack cheese, shredded
  • 2 tbsp. avocado oil
  • 2 tbsp. Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tbsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp. lemon pepper
  • 1 tbsp. apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp. olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tsp. red pepper flakes

Here is a very delicious meal replacement (ideally breakfast) idea! If you like smoothies, you’ll love it. Let’s get to it:

Yields 3 servings

You will need:

  • 8 frozen strawberries
  • 5 cubed fresh pineapple chunks
  • 2 kiwi, skinned and sliced
  • 1 banana, sliced
  • ~1/4 cup cold water
  • 3 tablespoons fat free vanilla yogurt
  • 1 scoop sweet cream protein powder (optional)

Stir Fry For the WIN! | vegetables

Now, doesn’t this just look festive and delicious!? I LOVE when I randomly choose something to create and it’s colorful and pretty! lol. Okay, so this was a huge hit. I had someone taste it who DOESN’T EVEN LIKE STIR FRY. His response was: first, pure silence. You know food is GOOD when you’re just silent and relishing the meal. Then he said:

“man, I don’t even like dishes like this but THIS is amazing; the thing I love about it most is you don’t have to add anything to it at all. No salt, pepper, just nothing”

Do you like chicken?!? Vegetables? (you should lol). This is a cool way to incorporate chicken and vegetables into one tasty dish, and it is a great source of protein.

Yields 1 serving

You will need:

  • 1 4-ounce boneless skinless chicken breast
  • 3g low sodium bacon
  • 1/2 ounce raw onion, sliced
  • 1/2 ounce raw green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 ounce raw spinach, chopped
  • 1 ounce reduced fat low moisture mozzarella cheese
  • 1 teaspoon cajun seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon roasted garlic
  • 1 teaspoon old bay blackened seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning
