Since my youth, I have always been into food and cooking. I was always the one in the kitchen more than my siblings on holidays, helping my mom cook. When I got old enough to be able to cook on my own, I totally despised anyone being in the kitchen with me (lol). People would offer assistance and suggestions, and I would deny them every time. Looking back, it was my happy place before I even knew God wrote it in my destiny. As I grew older, it became something that I looked to, to ease my mind. Cooking became something that brought me inner peace and sanity.

 

My vision is to educate you on mental health via food, all while sustaining your physical health. In considering our mental stability, what we choose to consume is often overlooked when it is actually a highly prevalent factor in remaining mentally strong.

 

My ultimate goal is to touch lives with my gift, by bringing awareness to nutrition by letting you know that cooking can be therapeutic! How? It can be just as much of a coping skill as going to a psychologist, sitting on the their couch for hours, and spilling your life story. That doesn’t work for everyone. I know that it doesn’t always work for me! This is why I am here. It is SO possible to enjoy a home cooked, healthy, and hearty meal, while replenishing the vitamins and nutrients your body needs to function at its best.
I am currently studying to receive my board certification as a Holistic Nutritionist. I am constantly learning new things; one thing I am excited to learn is how to accurately create vegan, gluten free, vegetarian, and paleo meals. As I am learning, new recipes will be added to my website which will in turn expand my meal prep menu.

Food is meant to sustain your mental AND physical wellness.
